So yesterday after a wonderful day of patching Windows servers and getting approval from government customers to actually do some work...I ran 4.0 miles on a treadmill at the YMCA. One really annoying thing is when it is "busy after work hours" at the YMCA and people are vying for a spot on the hard to find treadmills. The sign on the treadmill says "Please allow only 30 minutes on treadmill at a time when people are waiting." Problem is...people seem to forget how long 30 minutes actually is...
I was running a steady sub 8 min mile and at mile 3 I had a lady waiting behind me obviously getting huffy that I was on the treadmill for so long. Simple math would determine that I was on the treadmill for no more than 24 minutes maximum. Anyway, she decided to make me aware that she was waiting by standing very close to the treadmill. So, I decided to finish my 4 miles of running and I eventually did get off the treadmill, but not without this nice woman being very irritated that I went 2 minutes over my allotted time;) Anyway, thats my bitch for today....
Tonight is a 6-8 mile run and some light lifting...yee haw;)
